Lavender Crystal Cluster

I created a lavender crystal cluster

by heating up water for two minutes,

putting in alum potassium powder,

along with blue and red food

coloring to create purple. Put in

forty drops of the food coloring.

The alum powder should dissolve

in the glass jar where the mixture

is being put when the water is

heated.  Leave the mixture

for a couple of days and there
should be an alum crystal cluster
growing in the jar.
